Racial Harmony - The Finish Point
Racial. Harmony. was. really. really. great.
We woke up damn early today as we were required to. Although the Guest-of-Honour missed our booth, we still got quite a number of attention, despite some distractions all around us. It really was a good day for us.
I won't talk more, but the whole thing turned out to be really great, so yeah. Took hundreds of photos, but will only show the 2 or 3 that I feel is nice here.
And to those people who think that I'm upset because I luo xuan le, I'm not upset... just a bit disappointed. But at this point I'm okay with it already.
Ok, so now the photos.
That's it!
I'll do my homework tonight, take a break tomorrow and continue my now-slightly-relaxed-when-compared-to-this-week life.

Miss Poon here...
I want to tell you that life isn't all about winning. And it's the journey that counts... not the destination.
I know you're disappointed, and I'm glad you're moving on, but remember that being voted to a supporting role doesn't mean you are not as capable of doing well... some people are just more superb when given a supporting role!
I was also asked to run for the Student Council when I was back in secondary school. I was very active in CCAs and held a leadership position in almost all activities, even in class... but the teachers made me Vice-President instead, and I lost out to my best friend! But it's all good, cuz I came to realize that it was the best combination cuz I'm better at helping out than leading everyone else. It doesn't mean I'm not as good or lousier (the teachers made me see that), and it's true that the formulae worked well... we made a very good committee and the friendship strengthened. And I soon began to embrace my role as VP.
So what if my name isn't engraved in the school's 'hall-of-fame'? What I got out of it all was more than precious, and I'll never live thru' them again...
Take heart, and always remember to look at the greater picture...
hey kah swee
haha;D
dun get too upset or anything kaes? haha;D
even though you are not president and stuff we are always still here for you !
i also agree with what ms poon says la . winning is not everything and you must see it from a greater picture . i believe that kah swee will never give up and continue to shine even harder . i believe that this cheerful and humourous senior of mine will still continue to inspire ppl and bring not only the council but everyone else to greater heights.
it is okay to be disppointed but yesh you must get over it and move on kaes? dun worry cos you hav our absolute faith ! haha;D
rock on wor !
take care and i hope to see the ENTHU CRAZY AND HIGH KAH SWEE BACK !

Wow, Ms Poon...
Firstly, you've outdone yourself in writing a longer piece than the one in the journal entry! Woohoo!
Next... thanks for sharing your personal experience with me. Seriously you should have told us more of this when you're still in our class.
To estella and ms poon:
I already tell you all I'm not sad. Life goes on mah. I'll be still the crazy, stupid, clumsy, -fill in your blank- friend as always.
