Busy!

Very busy for past few days.

Let's see.

  • Kena sarbo-ed by Mr Aurelius Yeo and Mr Adrian Tan to present to the school's School Advisory Committee on a regular basis on the latest goings-on in technology and IT. 14-year-old boy "training" 60,70 year old people. Seriously.
  • Grad Nite Meeting! Finally had a proper meeting... and we settled lots of stuff. Yeah, like the tagline (OMG I LOVE IT SO MUCH!) and the me-designed logo (LOVE IT TOO!). For the Sec 4s visiting this blog, not to be a spoiler... so no revealing of the tagline and logo here. But lots of things confirmed. That's good. Thanks to Yao Zhong, Yi Hui, Russ and Felice!
  • CIP! Very rush! Got a whole bunch of deadlines which are damned tight. Let's get the CIP done and over with to show our 5t3pMAMA.
  • MOE ExCEL Fest: Don't know when to help Mr Chia with his presentation. But now I also very confused. Go and help ITMC or help Mr Chia!? Sigh.
Ok lah, not a lot. But then me not very good time organiser, so very tired liao.

GERMANY VS ARGENTINA LATER! GERMANY WILL WIN! :D

Going SYF with family tomorrow. Thanks Evelyn for tix! :)

Meetin' the new teachers

So all the new teachers came and intro-ed themselves to us.

Yeah.

Character Development - Mrs Wong and Ms Lim intro-ed themselves to us and through that intro we've realised how Mrs Wong is a neat-freak. I mean it. Everything must neat neat swee swee one.

No neat, no talk.

So she HATED how our class flag (which, in itself, is not neat) flying around at the back. And she also HATED how the notices were pasted on the "chalkboard" portion of the board. Sigh.

And sigh some more.

Me personally can't wait for Mrs J. Tan to come back for a few weeks. Cause I really missed how nice she was! Really!

Maybe have to adapt to changes lor.

Also found out from Ms Lim that she love to run. Wah, going to challenge half-marathon next year! Good luck!

Chemistry - We had a guy called Mr Nicholas Liu for our Chem lessons. Want to call him Prince Nicholas he don't want. Hmph. Should be quite nice... at least when seeing on initial impressions.

Ang Moh - Had a Ms Elaine Chng. Sorry! Must use black pen de.

Must also speak ang moh in class leh.

Never mind lah.

I don't think anyone will care.

But of course, the most important thing is that... we should... STAY NEAT! :)

1st day of Term 3

First day of school over. Wah, rather slacking. Got 10 new teachers leh! Me dunno who as I was doing front gate duty. Oh yeah, and Ms Yvonne Lim not teaching Chem liao. Teaching Bio (!!!). Yeah. I guess we could do a podcast on the siao days we had.

Y' know. Just to hui xiang the fun Chem lessons we had. Now with some other (male) teacher, dunno if will equally fun or not.

Sigh.

Sec 1s and Sec 2s, as well as Dance members had NDP practice. So today no JH class abit quiet. And many teachers not here. So quite a number of free periods.

Ms Mdm Vidya came into the class with a real funny hairstyle. Now that some teachers have gone, I think I can appreciate our current, unchanged teachers. Let's see... 3/4 got new teachers for these subjects:

  1. Form teacher
  2. Co-form
  3. Bio
  4. Chem
  5. English
  6. Maths (new, extra lesson)
Alot leh. Serious. No more nice Bio and English lessons, and no more funny Chem lessons liao. And Ms Ong seemed more "not-so-talkative" (about some stuff other than Maths) with the other teacher around.

Sigh.

During the last 2 periods, Gina, Stella, Yi Yang, Yi Hui, Jolin, Jocelyn, Xin Xuan, Ji Wei, Charmaine, and me played zhong ji mi ma. Yeah. Then kena forfeit.

Some examples of the forfeits. Hah!

Yi Yang supposed to act cute de. You know, like this:

Wonder who is king?
The easiest forfeit.

After that, our relief teacher stopped us from us from taking any photos. Too bad lor. Then we kept playing and we laughed real hard. Yeah. =D

I really want to do that "thank you ms lim" podcast. Wonder if YY and JH want to do or not. Then can play some sad music or something. Like Bad Day by Daniel Powter?

That's a real nice song.

Ice Prawns

My aunt bought these "frozen" prawns at Ikea ($3.50 I think). Tastes quite unique. Quite special, because your hands will get real cold (duh).

And my house is quiet cause my siblings go to my aunt's house to stay over. So. Very quiet. Posted by Picasa

Stupid Phone

Bah. Phone screwed up again.

Press number pad 0, and the phone thinks that it's 3. Yes. Same problem as last time. What the hell!

World cup fever :D

Went to YEAH! Networking thing at JTC today. I hate the lift. Worse than aeroplane landing (blocking your ears). But quite okay lah. The food is quite nice. The icebreakers are funny. And so yeah.

(My pocket feels so odd without any phone inside.)

Pixar's next film: Ratatouille will be released next year during May - July. Yay. Ratatouille (the rat) is SOOOO cute! (almost cuter than Guido from Cars)

Go watch the teaser trailer: RAT-A-TOO-EE!

How to use coin-operated trolley

Sorry for the lag in updates. I actually intended to post this on Sunday, but I was too lazy to do so. So yeah.

On Sunday my family went to Queenstown after my first Maths tuition in 2 or 3 years? It's not so bad - got Chi Xiong and Clement there. And the teacher really animated. Thinking of him will make me laugh (as in, his actions).

Before going to Queenstown, we went to Turf City's giant. Then I saw some people racing cars. Like those Tamiya cars, but bigger. Look at the dust they're generating:

You can't see the cars, but you can see the dust.

We then went to Tiong Bahru Plaza to use the BK food vouchers to makan. Not full at all! :( But we did see Patricia Mok and one other artiste there, promoting the 'Gift Me Mall' programme. Not bad ar, spend $50 can have a chance in a sure-win lucky draw dip. There's even an iPod shuffle for grabs. But who knows, those people redeeming (whom we see) only got Yeo's drinks and instant noodles. Wow.

After borrowing 6 books + 1 CD at Queenstown, we went around the town central. My father told me how lively the area was last time. Then my family walked around Queenstown Central, and it was indeed quite dead. We walked past a FairPrice outlet and I saw this interesting thing. And it sure did bring back good memories:

Awww, the good ol' days when you didn't have to insert $1 for a trolley...

Very green, but no people leh.

We then went to the hawker centre to makan. Wah, we got a real good seat. Lots of flowers surrounding us. And I mean it seriously!

Wah, not bad ar, still got sunflower!
The view from MY seat. Not some HDB void deck.

We realised that the people there only ate stuff from 2 stalls (I think only got the 2 stalls open, others are all closed): The chicken rice and the some other stall which sold suan la tang (like tom yam soup).

So we ordered the tom yam soup and chicken rice. The chicken rice veggies rock like hell. Damn nice. The chicken also not bad.

The suan la tang never arrived. Don't ask why. The people too blur. Or maybe we sit too far away.

So next time must sit closer.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Monday: After Maths remedial, YY and me went to JH's house to record the 3rd episode of 3/4 podcast. LOL. I think it's our best yet. I think lah. Then Gina kinda upset I think. Keep using her name.

Today: Going to JE library to meet Dix, JH. Then YY will join us and we go and record another stupid thing. =p

My phone is spoiled.

Sent it for servicing.

Bottom line: I miss my phone!
